Second-hand clothing is collected on Siddartha and, after sorting, sold again in the warehouse in Heist-op-den-Berg on Sunday morning.
The Clothes Shop is carried by four teams of volunteers, these people work in rotation so that clothes can be sorted and sold every week. All clothing (both for children and adults) that is still fashionable and wearable can be brought to Siddartha on a daily basis, these are free donations. The proceeds of the sale are fully spent on the various initiatives of Siddartha.
The goal of Siddarthas Klerenshop is therefore twofold: on the one hand we try to redistribute because people with a small budget can still buy good clothes. On the other hand, we can use the proceeds to provide financial support to social projects.
